Expository Writing

Writing that explains, informs, or clarifies a subject through organized information and examples.

Context

Expository writing can define a term, describe a process, compare ideas, or examine causes and effects. Its structure helps readers follow how the information fits together.

My introduction to the Backrooms and liminal spaces uses definitions, examples, history, and references to introduce its subjects.
